The Fallfire 6 Awards Presentation and Artists Get-Together will be held at held at Simply, the unique coffeehouse and eatery in downtown Prairie du Chien, Wis., on Sunday, November 8th. Doors open at 4:00PM, with a program starting at about 5:00PM. This year's Fallfire contributors are each invited to attend with a guest. There will be some free fun snacks offered, but bring a couple of dollars for drinks.
Later, an artists reception and gallery showing, called Fallfire: Harvest, will be held on the evening of Friday, November 20th, at the beautiful, historic site known as The Knowlton House, which serves as the offices of Prairie du Chien Downtown Revitalization, Inc. (PDRI). The event will also launch PDRI's "Avenue of Art on Blackhawk" community Arts enrichment program. The public is invited to view - and purchase, of course - Fallfire 6 entries, as well as other works by all contest participants (scenes of last year's show are also below).
