The realm of photography has expanded dramatically since even just the first few years of the Fallfire contest, due in part to the ever-increasing quality of digital cameras.  Maybe that's why the Fallfire "Photography" award category seems to be the most popular.  Still, all forms of photography are welcome here, including not just digital, but color or black-and-white film, slidesa and even video!  Yes, digital video may be submitted, as well as "tweaked" photo images.  Again, this is a contest about you, so do whatever feels "right" to you.  To submit your entry, an e-mailed scan or digital file of your work sent to fallfire@johnmundtesquire.com is perfectly welcome (please send a good-sized file, as these are all printed as 8x10s for judging purposes), as is mailing or dropping-off an original or framed piece at our secure street address before the deadline.  All physical artwork is returned to the artist, of course, as well as being eligible for display (and sale?) in our Fallfire gallery showing in November.  Enter as many times as you like, but, while there is no fee for one or even two entries, we are asking for a $10 jury fee for each "third or more" entry, which must accompany the submission.  As always, make sure that you include answers to our Entry Form questions!
